2a determination to act in a certain way RESOLVEThe great thing about going on a vacation and meeting new people is that you can be anyone you want to be. And that is exactly what I did recently. In my daily life I'm usually shy around new people and very guarded about emotions even with my friends. Being someone else on my vacation and being open to new things showed me a whole new world that got me thinking about things when I got back. What are my intentions in my daily life, career, friends? Some of these things I had never thought about before. I feel like I was living on auto pilot and it left me walking in circles repeating the same things over and over again. So many dreams and ambitions I had slipped through my fingers because it was never the right time for me to do them. Every job I had, that was just going to be a transition until I found something better, turned in to something I resented because I had stayed to long. My apartment which was supposed to be temporary turned into a cave of depression with nothing but negative energy.I had done all this to myself without realizing. I was living with no intention or desire to change it. Once I got back from my vacation I knew I needed a reminder to push myself to make a change. On a whim, after a long day at work, I knew it was now or never. I know getting a tattoo isn't for everyone but its something I look at everyday now. It hasn't been an immediate 100% change, but small changes are ones that are more likely to stick and that's my current intention.
